Our Teachers Rock® founder Debbie Kent has just returned from leading a music and well-being session at the Music & Drama Education EXPO hosted at London Olympia accompanied by Teachers Rock® Associate John Bangham. The seminar focussed on three new schemes of work targeting transition phases from KS1-2, KS2-3 and KS3-4.Delegates were directed through a fast paced, interactive workshop using carefully selected repertoire and activities to help empower a positive mental attitude in the classroom.
At lunchtime, 12 adult Teachers Rock® members, representing educational establishments from across the South West, plus a transition choir of 25 young people (aged 7-15yrs) from Chulmleigh Music Centre in Devon joined their musical director for a 30 minute performance of inspirational singing on the main performance stage. #transformationallearning #inspirationalsinging #powerofmusic #wellbeing
